The Cook Islands culture has always been part of who I was growing up in Australia. I have always wanted to share our unique culture with the mainstream communities. I have been privileged to share this culture at many corporate, community and private events over the many years.

It is my passion to give the upcoming generation a platform to learn the culture and develop life skills at the same time. I believe that through cultural performing arts and cultural sports teams you will learn self-confidence, motivation, cultural awareness and unity.

I'm proud to be part of an organisation and team who lives and breathes our Cook Islands culture!

We look forward to working with all of our Cook Islands and Pacific communities in WA and Australia.

Victoria Chapman volunteers as our Vice-President and joined the Cook Island Community in 2013.  Her love for her culture and family has allowed her to see the growth and development of all those in the community but especially our young children.  With the support of her husband James, she has enjoyed helping at community fundraisers and events over the years. And looks forward to the privilege of another year ahead.

Born and raised in South Auckland majority of my life I’ve always been blessed to be surrounded by our Cook Island culture. This can vary in the way of joining polyfest during high school, Different dance groups, Pacifica and Kia-Orana festivals, Saturday markets or countless island functions. Fast forward a few years and my first time to Perth, WA in 2010 made me proud to be a Cook Islander even more so. I watched a group of 20-30 kids/teens/adults sing, dance and perform in a language some of them can not speak, honour and lift a nation many of them had never visited and all with a desire to learn and grow more. This is my passion for our community, our parents have lived and breathed the Cook Islands, where we live shouldn’t stop the next generation from doing the same.
