About us
Cook Islands Community WA Inc. is powered by volunteers and a vision to keep our culture alive whilst being positive contributors to the Western Australia community wherever we live, work or play.
Our history, 2005
Established on 25 August 2005 as a not-for-profit organisation under the name Te Pua Inano O Te Kuki Airani (WA) Incorporated, the association was founded to support and represent the growing Cook Islands community in Western Australia.
To strengthen its recognition and engagement within the wider community, the organisation officially adopted the name Cook Islands Community WA Incorporated on 5 January 2012.
Today, Cook Islands Community WA Inc. proudly serves as the peak body representing the interests, culture, and wellbeing of the Cook Islands community across Western Australia, fostering connection, cultural pride, and meaningful partnerships within the broader community.
